The last few months have been so busy. I was a Red Cross volunteer both times for the victims of the hurricanes that hit along the Texas coast. The shelters were at the First United Methodist Church in Mt.Vernon. We were busy but I got to meet allot of fellow Texans and made lots of new friends.
The Mt. Vernon football team has done an outstanding job this season. The Tigers have played with such passion and teamwork and have been such a joy to watch. GGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOO Tigers.
The First National Bank of Mount Vernon put on its annual fall picnic. Lots of great food, good friends and wonderful weather made it a great day. Thanks to the hard working people from the bank who made it all possible.
